November is defined by Thanksgiving. In a blink of an eye we quickly move to a land beyond the brilliant colors of the maples and the vivid chartreuse of closed milk weed pods. Our consumer culture wants to move us even further, even faster. Thanksgiving too often is seen as that holiday that precedes ‘black Friday”  [ … ]

Special Church Vote

Sunday, Oct. 21 – Noon.
Special church vote. We need to vote on proposed
budget and bylaw changes. We will keep this short,
to an hour max, but all voting members’ presence is
needed because we must have a quorum in order to
vote.
