Pub Theology is Back ~ Join Us Thurs, 9/21, 7pm

Pub Theology is back and we will start our year together at the place that hosted us when our previous place forgot about us. So join us Thursday, 9/21 at 7pm at Hudson House and Lounge at 40 Washington Street in Hudson. We will meet there for our two October dates (10/5 and 10/19) as well and then try a few places in Marlborough. They are very enthusiastic about welcoming us!

Our theological discussion for this Thursday will be … How does our religious upbringing (or lack of religious experience) affect our sense of life purpose? For better or worse, religion can have a significant impact in our understanding of ourselves, others, and the world. How does all that affect our sense of our life purpose or the meaning of life?Pub Theology: Mixing Spirit with Spirits welcomes Atheists, Agnostics, Humanists, people of all faith traditions, and people who identify as “spiritual but not religious” to gather together to talk while enjoying some locally served spirits.

Join us every other Thursday at 7pm for deep, respectful, and reflective conversation with our interfaith neighbors.

Examples of our non-denominational theological discussion themes include … How does our religious upbringing affect our sense of life purpose? What would our world be like if there was no oppression or prejudice? What gifts matter most during the holidays? What metamorphosis would you most like to see in yourself and our world? Check our Facebook page (or contact the church) for the locations, dates, and topics.
