On Easter Sunday, UCMH presents “Honoring Prophetic Risk and Risky Prophets.” The biblical story tells us that Jesus’ life was in danger from the moment King Herod learned of his birth. Yet, he was willing to risk everything to be a truth teller and a social reformer.
Put on your favorite Easter hat and join us for a service led by Rev. Alice Anacheka-Nasemann honoring the courage of a young prophet and exploring hope in times of despair.
Special activities also are available for youth each Sunday. We share special stories, wonderings, activities, and art projects based on the theme of the service that age-appropriate and engaging for youth of all ages.
