This Sunday, we continue our exploration of the wisdom of world religions. In this special online service, Dr. Tallessyn Zawn Grenfell-Lee joins Rev. Alice Anacheka-Nasemann in presenting Water from a Stone.
Dr. Grenfell-Lee was raised and seminary trained in the United Methodist tradition, in which passages from the Judeo-Christian Scriptures are chosen for weekly meditation and preaching on a 3-year cycle, called the Lectionary. The Lectionary readings for March 15th describe surprising moments of abundance and grace within barren, hopeless spaces.
Tallessyn looks forward to sharing her Methodist, eco-feminist reflection with you! She also will provide a special online presentation, COVID-19 and Climate Resilience Strategies: From Overwhelm to Grace-Filled Empowerment, following the service from 12:30-2:30pm. Please see our post for details.
