Women's Web Tent -- Reclamation (2)
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 7PM
WOMEN’S WEB TENT: RECLAMATION
The Red Tent movement is inspired by Anita Diamant’s fictional story, The Red Tent, and supports women in reclaiming the gifts of community as we gather together to co-create safe, woman-centered, restorative, inclusive community. Here in Hudson, MA, we have created and facilitated such a space for over 9 years!
And we are continuing this work online, during the coronavirus crisis, by creating that same Safe Space in which we enter times of sharing around a theme inspired by our Red Tent sisters.  This week’s theme is “Reclamation.
We hear the word Reclamation often associated with the recultivation of our environment. But we can also apply the goal of Reclamation to our own lives. When we set the intention of Reclamation, we make the conscious decision to enter into a process of restoration, or of reasserting a right. Consciously seeking to Take It Back may be our response to circumstances where we feel we have lost personal power, either by decisions we’ve made in our lives, or through the actions of others.
– Can you recall a time when you had to actively engage in a journey to reclaim lost gifts/power/opportunity? What did that look like? Journeys of Reclamation can be in-the-moment… and they can be lifelong.
– What was gained? What was lost? What was learned?
– What does that adventure look like now?
– Is there a place in your life where you could afford to spend some time seeking Reclamation but are finding it challenging to begin, and why?
We each have a story of Reclamation to tell; in the sharing of stories we discover the learning, the wisdom, and the healing. You are invited!
Join Zoom Meeting
To make this as restorative a space as possible, feel free to join us surrounded by any items that bring you comfort.
I’d also like you to please bring a small item that speaks to you of the fabulosity that is Woman. It could be a goddess statue, a crystal, a lovely apple, anything you’re inspired to bring.
This Tent is created for adult women and mature female teens (reminder: Trans sisters, this is YOUR Tent, too!) Feel free to share this invite!!!
No admission will be collected for our WEB Tents. If you are inspired and able (we all recognize this can be a very financially trying time), donations to continue the work of the SGCC — including this Red Tent — would be gratefully received! Here’s the link; thank you!!!
Or feel free to mail a check to:

Can’t wait to see you Thursday. Peace, love, health and safety, all!
