Winter Solstice Service ~
“From Darkness to Light”
with Special Guest, Storyteller, Diane Edgecomb
Special Guest, Diane Edgecomb joins our service with pieces from her Winter Solstice performance:
“From Darkness to Light: a Winter Solstice Celebration of Storytelling, Harp and Song.”
The beautiful traditional tales she has gathered bring renewed meaning to winter holiday traditions and are surrounded by traditional and original music and song. The service will feature the beautiful Legend of the Mistletoe from Scandinavia. The time for families will feature a tale of humorous English Wassail traditions. Recordings of songs evocative of the season and lovely instrumental melodies round out the event.
