WOMEN’S WEB TENT ~
A DECADE OF CO-CREATING COMMUNITY
“My mother and my mother-aunties told me endless stories about themselves. In the ruddy shade of the red tent, their stories were like offerings of hope and strength poured out before the Queen of Heaven; only these gifts were not for any god or goddess — but for me.”
– Anita Diamant, The Red Tent
The Red Tent movement, inspired by Anita Diamant’s fictional story, supports women in reclaiming the gifts of community as we gather together to co-create safe, woman-centered, restorative, inclusive community. Here in Hudson, MA, we have created and facilitated such a space since 2011! And we are continuing this work online, during the coronavirus crisis, by creating that same Safe Space in which we enter times of sharing around a theme inspired by the hearts of our Red Tent sisters.
You are invited to join us for a very special Red Tent: March 11, 2011 marks the VERY FIRST Hudson MA Red Tent! Together, let’s celebrate this legacy of co-creating community, gathering together in dedicated, restorative WomanSpace to Share Our Stories and our Wisdom so we may learn, grow, become inspired, heal. We’re extending our Tent an extra half hour so we may spend more time in sharing, reminiscing and meditating; we’ll be sure to take a yoga break! If you’ve attended previous Hudson MA Red Tents and have a story to tell and/or a craft to share that you created during one of our in-person Tent events, you are most welcome to bring it to the space… and feel free to Wear Your RED!! Whether you’re one of our Red Tent Wise Women from Day 1 or are joining us for your first time: WELCOME! You are invited!

**PLEASE NOTE: WE WILL BE LOCKING THE MEETING AFTER 20 MINUTES. THANK YOU!!! **
To make this as restorative a space as possible, feel free to join us surrounded by any items that bring you comfort.
I’d also like you to please bring a small item that speaks to you of the fabulosity that is Woman. It could be a goddess statue, a crystal, a lovely apple, anything you’re inspired to bring.
This Tent is created for adult women and mature female teens (reminder: Trans sisters, this is YOUR Tent, too!) Feel free to share this invite!!!
No admission will be collected for our WEB Tents. If you are inspired and able (we all recognize this can be a very financially trying time), donations to continue the work of the SGCC — including this Red Tent — would be gratefully received!
