Wisdom and the Sacred Feminine

This Mother’s Day service will be led as a Pagan ritual. In it, we will consider Wisdom as an expression of the sacred, taking the famed nature writer and scientist Rachel Carson as an example. Then we will share experiences of the women of wisdom in our lives: those who have nurtured us, transmitted our values to us, and guided our choices in life.

All are welcome to join us following the service for conversation and light refreshments in Union Hall.

“Those who contemplate the beauty of the earth find reserves of strength that will endure as long as life lasts. There is something infinitely healing in the repeated refrains of nature — the assurance that dawn comes after night, and spring after winter.”

― Rachel Carson
