- Bike to Church!

Members of the Unitarian Church of Marlborough and Hudson ask all church-goers to use alternative transportation (bicycle, car pool or public transit) to get to church on Earth Day - April 22nd.

“I’d like to ‘act locally’ by having a group of us bike to church on a regular basis. What better day to kick this off than Earth Day, April 22nd! The benefits of biking to church are tremendous - it is a great way to exercise, it saves on CO2 emissions and could even inspire more people to bike - a whole movement perhaps!” says the church’s resident bike evangelist.

Its hard to think about getting on a bicycle in the cold and rain to ride to church. But on the other hand, with glaciers retreating and sea levels rising - we should each think about how we interact with the world and how we can do a better job.
