Community Matters
Today’s recording features Reverend Stephen Shick with his gathering words, church president Johanna LaPlante with the reading, “Why I Come to Church,” by Reverend A. Powell Davies, and Reverend Shick’s sermon, “Community Matters.” Our musical selections today were hymn 145, “As Tranquil Streams,” “Here In The Silence,” by Niki and Gordon Davis and F.F. Fleming, hymn 354, “We Laugh, We Cry,” and hymn 113, “Where is our Holy Church.” All music is performed by the UCMH choir and congregation under the direction of Marjorie Mitchell.
