Like Desperadoes Waiting for a Train
In today’s program, Reverend David Johnson reads “Traditions of the Spirit,” by Reverend Judith Campbell. The reading is followed by Reverend Johnson’s sermon, “Like Desperadoes Waiting for a Train.” Our introductory music was hymn 318, “We Would Be One.” Our intermediary music was “All Through the Night,” Welsh Melody, solo by Jan Tower. Our closing hymn was hymn 188, “Come, Come, Whoever You Are,” and our closing music is “A Natural Order,” by Frostic and Duson. All music was performed by the UCMH choir and congregation under the direction of Marjorie Mitchell. This recording was produced by Ben Peck.
