Social Action Committee
Helps church work for social justice and leads projects to benefit local causes - holiday Giving Tree, collect/deliver clothing/food pantry items. Meets as needed.

Archives Committee
Is in charge of the historical properties of the church and the church records — small items like photos & papers. Meets as needed.

Canvass Committee
Plans the canvass — asking members how much money they’re willing to pledge to the church in the coming year. Recruits others to help out with the canvass. Usually very busy from Feb. through April.

Flower Committee
Makes arrangements to see that flowers, plants, etc. are provided for all Sunday services — calls people to donate. Usually done by telephone. Must be done weekly.

Worship Committee
In consultation with our Minister, plans and conducts services when the Minister is not in the pulpit. Meets monthly, or more often as needed.

Property Committee
Takes responsibility for the care and maintenance of the church buildings and other physical property of the church. Oversees custodian. Meets monthly, or more frequently as needed.

Music Committee
Oversees the Director of Music and the guest organist. Consults with Director of Music to provide the music program for the church. Maintains the tuning of all instruments in the church. Meets as needed.

Membership Committee
Encourages membership growth and fellowship. Meets monthly.

Nominating Committee
Prepares slate of officers and committee members for the parish to consider at each annual meeting. Meets as needed — generally active between Feb. & April.

Executive Board
Administers and coordinates the overall plans, activities and goals of the church. Consists of a president, vice president, treasurer, clerk and three other board members. Monthly meetings, and attend parish meetings and/or special meetings as needed. Must be voting members.**

Collector
Takes responsibility for receiving, acknowledging, and recording the pledges, donations, and plate collection income of the church. Must be voting member**

Moderator
Presides at meetings of the parish.

Religious Education Committee
Plans and takes responsibility for the educational programs of the church, both for children and adults. Oversees RE Director. Meets monthly.

Board of Trustees
Manages, makes investment decisions and disburses from the church’s invested funds. Must be voting members.** Meets as needed, usually twice a year.
