We’re still on to host the Community Supper on Monday, 1/26. But instead of it being at the usual location, it’s been changed because the Baptist Church (where the suppers are usually held) had some serious water damage. Some pipes burst a few days back when the mercury reached its lowest point (Thursday night/Friday morning). The kitchen and serving areas are a real mess — one that will take some weeks to fix.
So until further notice, the supper is now being held at the Marlborough Senior Center, on Main Street, across from the Walker Building. (Just be careful where you park – the police do hand out tickets for overdue parking meters, etc. in that part of town.)
It will be the same time as usual – 4:15 til 7 or so. We may need to bring new/different supplies based on what the Senior Center has on hand; we’ll know more next week. The supper coordinators are still trying to assess what’s different or changed and will let us know soon as they figure it out.
I’ll continue to post updates on this Web site.
