Today’s registration for this Spring’s ESOL Conversation class attracted 12 adults, most from Marlborough. Ms. Eileen Ehntholt, a now-retired Hudson Public School English teacher, has been hired by the Hudson-Maynard Adult Learning Center to teach this 20-session, 10-week morning class to be held in our Assembly Hall.

The class will challenge the teacher because of a wide range of English proficiency among the students, but she will provide individual, tailored learning materials. The class is financed by $1,800 of our pledged Social Action funds and by Center funds from its 2005 Dinner/Dance celebration.

Everyone who pledged this year is complimented for helping to make this most worthwhile Social Action program a reality.
