Jim Scott is an exciting acoustic guitarist, singer, and composer of powerful music that furthers the ideals of ecology, justice, and peace. Jim intersperses songs and readings with his personal reflections on the season and a spiritual, ecological awareness. Jim leads the congregation in a participatory musical service to rekindle our faith in the return of the sun, longer days and another spring. From the birth of a child (any child), to the turning of the planet, the celebration of the Winter Solstice, and an appreciation of the darkness as part of the earth’s natural cycle, Jim’s songs and poetry reaffirm our place in the amazing, continuing web of life.
