Saturday, Nov. 10 ~ Red Tent, “Own Your Crone”

Red Tent

Hudson, MA Red Tent Gatherings:
Celebrating Over 7 Years of Sharing Our Stories and Creating Community!

The Red Tent movement, inspired by Anita Diamant’s fictional story, The Red Tent, supports women in reclaiming the gifts of community as we gather together to co-create intimate, woman-centered, secular Safe Space.  Here we share stories, wisdom, laughter, connection, and inspiration. We practice and receive Deep Listening that we may be present with and share our Authentic Selves.

“Own Your Crone”—Women’s Red Tent Gathering
CRONE: an archetypal figure, a Wise Woman, venerated for experience and judgement.  Root word: “crown.” Women are joining collectively in a New Crone movement: we reclaim our inherent power, stand strong, and speak up for ourselves that we may celebrate the wisdom, compassion, intuition, and transformation that have been bestowed upon us by the grace—and privilege—of aging.  Please join us for a powerful multigenerational Red Tent where we may learn from one another that to truly embrace life, we must embrace ALL of it. We gather to Tell Our Stories and share our joys, accomplishments, concerns, fears, insights, lessons learned, and celebrations surrounding the women’s ripening experience.

A NEW TRADITION at our Red Tent Gathering:  Women’s RhythmWeave!
Please bring a simple rhythm or musical tool (small musical instrument, a Found Object that makes an interesting sound, or simply your own voice) that we may lift our individual Voices together in Celebration and Raising Up of the power of women’s community.

Red Tent is created for adults and mature teens.  Dress comfortably; please bring a snack to share along with your instruments.
