This Sunday we welcome our guest, Jennifer Johnson, who presents “The Fierce Urgency of Joy.” The service is also hosted by Worship Associate, Joyce Andrews.
The Fierce Urgency of Joy: In these times when we are so acutely aware of the painful injustices in our society, what place is there for joy in our lives, relationships, and social justice movements? Might we need joy now more than ever?
Jennifer Johnson is a seminarian at Meadville Lombard Theological School and an Aspirant for the Unitarian Universalist ministry. She lives with her family in Franklin, MA and is an active member and lay leader at the First Universalist Society in Franklin. In addition to her seminary studies and ministerial training, Jennifer works as the director of communications for a large human services agency.
