Come, come, whoever you are, wanderer, worshipper, lover of leaving.
Ours is no caravan of despair. Come, yet again come.
Jalaluddin Rumi, 13th Century Sufi Poet

Whoever you are, you will be welcome at the Unitarian Church of Marlborough and Hudson. Our guests join us for a variety of reasons and all are welcome.

If you would like to experience worship that draws its inspiration from the wisdom of many religions, cultures, and writings—you will be welcome here.

If you are looking for a sanctuary where, for an hour, you can collect your thoughts, be with your feelings and listen to inspiring words and music—you will be welcomed here.

If you are looking for a community where you and your family can learn the arts of loving and giving that will last a life time —-you will be welcome here.

If you want to discover your own spiritual path—you will be welcome here.

If you come only once, come from time to time, or join us regularly —you will be welcome here.

A Guide for Your First Visit

Directions, Map & Parking Information

Accessibility

We suggest you enter through the front door which face onto Main Street.
There you will be greeted by members of the congregation who will welcome you, answer any questions you might have, and give you the Order of Service. Upon entering the sanctuary, feel free to select any seat that appeals to you.

Immediately before the service, one of our lay leaders will share words of welcome and provide brief community announcements. Following this, it is our tradition to greet each other.

The service begins at 10:30 and ends between 11:30 and 11:45.

Visiting as a Family

Our Religious Education program for children and youth meets during the Sunday worship hour on the church’s first level. Director of Lifelong Learning Deb Levering directs this program, which is staffed by volunteers.

Children begin church with their families in the sanctuary and leave with their teachers after the Story for All Ages. Classes end at 11:45, at which time Deb Levering will ring a chime indicating it is time for you to pick up your children from their classrooms.

Nursery care is provided for all children age four and under. Greeters will direct you to the nursery on the first level.

Coffee Hour Following Worship

We encourage you to join us after the service for an informal coffee hour in Union Hall. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet some of our members and friends. Union Hall is on the first level and can be reached either by the stairway leading down from the Main Street foyer or from the door to the left of the pulpit area in the sanctuary.
