“Sessions” is an Open Mic, Songwriters Round Table, Invitational Jam, and Occasional CoffeeHaus. We welcome your Music, Spoken Word, and other Art Performances.
This month’s featured artist is Volkert Volkersz, a singer/songwriter and creator of acoustic guitar instrumental, influenced by the 1960s folk revival, the British Invasion, and artists such as Pete Seeger, Peter, Paul and Mary, Bob Dylan, the Beatles, and John Fahey. He writes about peace, relationships, the Earth, and gratitude. Volkert is often joined by members of a loose-knit acoustic band called “The Walking Antiques.” Born in Amsterdam, Volkert lived, worked, and performed in Washington State prior to retiring and moving to Peterborough, New Hampshire in 2016.
Sessions has a 70’s Slingerland kit (drummers need to bring throne, hi hat, and cymbals), bass amplification, and high-quality sound re-enforcement. A/V recording is available if you supply 4 or 8 gig SD card. Friends of all ages are welcome.
