Sunday, September 30 ~ A Soul’s Practice with Music by Gordon Michaels, 10:30am

Gordon Michaels

Aristotle said, “The soul never thinks without a picture,” reminding us that we are only able to actualize our deepest desires and sense of purpose when we have a guiding vision. This morning we will explore the theme of Vision through languages of the soul: poetry, music, and meditation.

Our special musical guest is Gordon Michaels, a premiere vocalist who has performed around the world and with internationally known singers, including Patti Labelle, Jennifer Holiday, James Taylor, Aerosmith, Rod Stewart, Cissy Houston, Keith Lockhart, Tramaine & Edward Hawkins, Natalie Cole, and a performance for Pope John Paul II.  He created and hosted the popular Gospel Brunch at the original House of Blues in Cambridge, MA

A resident of Boston, Gordon inspires audiences in theater productions, private functions, charity events, and piano bars throughout the region, and also performs at small dinner shows and Cabaret events for many local restaurants.

We hope you join us this Sunday ~ all are welcome at UCMH!
