Friday, Feb 1 ~ Open Adult Imbolc Circle ~ 6-9pm

Imbolc (2)

Join us as we welcome the growing light of mid-winter in a Imbolc ritual honoring Hestia. We will ask for her purification and blessings as we cleanse ourselves of the obstacles in our lives.

The members of Moon Circle – a CUUPS chapter group from the Unitarian Church of Marlboro and Hudson – and the Society of Elder Faiths are jointly offering this circle for all who are looking to celebrate the return of longer days and shorter nights, even as we make our way through snow and slush.

Imbolc is a time of promises to come from the earth—the promise of warmth, the promise of light, the promise of growth and through growth, sustenance. Come and renew your spirit as we ask Hestia for her blessings.

Doors open at 6pm, doors will close and the pre-ritual discussion will begin at 7 PM. There will be a potluck supper following the ritual, so please bring a dish to share. We’ll supply cups, plates, eating utensils and beverages. (No alcohol please). All adults are welcome; no experience is necessary.

Led by Cynthia Menard and Chris Coleman
