SIDE WITH LOVE SUNDAY ~
A SPECIAL VALENTINE’S DAY SERVICE
Join us this Sunday for a special Valentine’s Day Service in collaboration with the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA).
The service, Side with Love Sunday, is part of Thirty Days of Love, the UUA’s annual celebration that runs approximately from Martin Luther King, Jr. Day in January through Valentine’s Day in February. It is an opportunity to lift up the ways Unitarian Universalists and many of our partner organizations are building and organizing by taking bold, courageous action for intersectional racial justice.
This worship service brings together worship leaders and musicians from across the country to offer hopeful, moving, challenging reminders about what we, as Unitarian Universalists, are called to do, and BE, in the world. It will feature stirring music, deep-hearted reflection, and moving testimonies from a range of UU leaders, as well as music and joys and sorrows from the UCMH parish.
We hope you join our celebration of love this Valentine’s Day, where we also celebrate Black History, diversity and inclusiveness, the love of humanity, and our “Be-loved Community.”
