WOMEN’S WEB TENT ~
“SPRING CLEANING”
The Red Tent movement is inspired by Anita Diamant’s fictional story, The Red Tent, and supports women in reclaiming the gifts of community as we gather together to co-create safe, woman-centered, restorative, inclusive community. Here in Hudson, MA, we have created and facilitated such a space since 2011! And we are continuing this work online, during the coronavirus crisis, by creating that same Safe Space in which we enter times of sharing around a theme inspired by the hearts of our Red Tent sisters. This week’s theme is “SPRING CLEANING.”
Spring cleaning isn’t just for our living spaces; this evaluate-and-release ritual can be applied to our energetic, spiritual, physical, professional, and emotional lives as well. And oh, how these have changed and grown over this past year!
As Marie Kondo says:
“The space in which we live should be for the person we are becoming now, not for the person we were in the past.”
How have your energetic, spiritual, psychological and physical spaces shifted since the beginning of pandemic times? Has this past year brought you times of introspection, a chance to reflect on who you are and where you want to go? Has it also forced you to reckon with some elements of your life that you had been tucking away and must now bring into the light? What new habits, thoughts, relationships, experiences, and lessons might you want to hold onto? Which ones will you be only too happy to leave behind? Come, let’s gather together again inside the Red Tent, in Safe Space, where we can be ourselves and Share Our Stories on what our post-pandemic, all-inclusive Spring Cleaning might look like. You are invited!

**PLEASE NOTE: WE WILL BE LOCKING THE MEETING AFTER 20 MINUTES. THANK YOU!!! **
To make this as restorative a space as possible, feel free to join us surrounded by any items that bring you comfort.
I’d also like you to please bring a small item that speaks to you of the fabulosity that is Woman. It could be a goddess statue, a crystal, a lovely apple, anything you’re inspired to bring.
This Tent is created for adult women and mature female teens (reminder: Trans sisters, this is YOUR Tent, too!) Feel free to share this invite!!!
No admission will be collected for our WEB Tents. If you are inspired and able (we all recognize this can be a very financially trying time), donations to continue the work of the SGCC — including this Red Tent — would be gratefully received!
