Living Love through the Practice of Trust
A Soul Matters Sharing Circle
The Unitarian Church of Marlborough & Hudson invites you into a time of spiritual reflection with our Soul Matters Community Sharing Circles. Each month, in lieu of a formal worship service, we will gather in the Knight Room or Union Hall to create safe, sacred space together, in a sharing circle format, so we may explore topics that apply to our daily living, and which contribute to personal spiritual discernment.
The Call to Trust Life comes to us as a gift; the trust in others. The trust in ourselves. The trust in nature. A Love that won’t let us go is essential; and isn’t it just as important to have trust in a Love that won’t let us get too comfortable, one which calls us into connection with one another to care about the well-being of our community.
And then there’s the voice reminding us to trust that it’s not all up to us. That sometimes it’s ok to rest. A voice that doesn’t disturb and push but instead assures us that we can Just Let Go. That tells us to trust that we can – for a while – put the work down.
When we look at what ignites us in the world — perhaps in the service of others – we trust that we’ll simply know what Call is right for us, and honor what calls to others.
And as we have faith that others will be there to support us throughout our lives, we likewise continue to build that mycelial network of trust. Because we need to know that we can say to one another I See how much your experience of broken trust hurts. This month, let’s invite one another to offer safe and wide-open spaces of trust.
Youth ages 13-18 are encouraged to participate in our Circle. Children will be meeting in Union Hall. For children up to age 6: Nursery Care is available.
COVID Safety: Masks are optional. Please, if you’re not feeling well, do stay home! Many thanks for your kind consideration.
