In this week’s service, “Simplicity and the Holidays,” we’ll look at how to simplify holiday trappings, such as money and material things, and also our time and energy — keeping the effort simple for ourselves and dealing with family dynamics.

There will be an interactive aspect with folks invited to think about their own holiday traditions — which are keepers, what they might like to try, and what they would be just as happy to toss.

The goal isn’t to tell everyone to only make handmade gifts, but to encourage people to find holiday traditions that are meaningful to them and with the least negative impact of financial burden/stress.
