Sunday, November 4 ~ Special Samhain Service

Pumpkins and Gourds

Join our Sunday Worship Service, November 4 at 10:30am to honor Samhain.

Samhain, translated from Old Irish as “Summer’s End,” is a pagan festival marking the end of harvest season. With life falling back in preparation for the winter, the Gaels believed that the border between this world and the other world became thin on Samhain. In this service we will honor the cycles of life and death and pay tribute to our loved ones who have died. You are invited to bring a photograph of a deceased loved one to add to our altar of memory.

Led by Rev. Alice Anacheka-Nasemann with members of Mooncircle.

All are welcome at UCMH.
