Sun, February 17 ~ In ___ We Trust with Viola Abbitt

Viola

This Sunday, UCMH welcomes special guest speaker, Viola Abbitt who presents, “In   _____  We Trust.”

If we trust something, we believe in it.  One could say we have faith in it.  In reflecting on the liberal religious tradition of Unitarian Universalism, is there any general statement that we can make about what we believe in . . . or what we can trust about ourselves and each other?

Viola Abbitt, a candidate for the Unitarian Universalist ministry, is the ministerial intern at the Unitarian Universalist Society of Greater Springfield here in Massachusetts.  Viola is a seminarian and will be graduating from the Meadville Lombard Theological School in Chicago, IL in May of this year. She is also a trustee at Camp Unirondack and is a member of the Journey Toward Wholeness Transformation Committee of the Unitarian Universalist Association.

UCMH also welcomes a special musical performance from our Youth Jazz Band for our service.

The service begins at 10:30am.
Please join us afterwards in our Worship Cafe for coffee, refreshments, and fellowship.

All are welcome at UCMH!
