Multigenerational Worship Explorations

Our theme for the month of March is the Wisdom of World Religions. This morning we will explore that theme in more depth using different learning modalities.

Spiritual Practice: Lectio Divina — the Art of Sacred Reading
Cynthia Menard will lead a workshop on sacred reading, the practice of Lectio Divina. Although initially developed as a Christian practice, we will look at text from different cultures and religions around the world – both ancient and modern (including some JK Rowling!). We will use scriptures and important writings to dive deeply into this practice through reading, meditating, journaling and conversation. Located in the Knight Room, through the doors at the front of the Sanctuary and across the hall

Creative Expression: Co-exist T-shirts
Join Jennifer Rambridge to create and decorate your own t-shirt with the interfaith Co-exist design. T-shirts with the Co-exist design will be provided along with fabric markers and paint. You add the color & embellishments. This group will meet in classroom 2. Go down the stairs at the back of the Sanctuary to the 2nd door on your right.

Exploration in Dialogue: Bahaiism and Unitarian Universalist
Ron Matthews of the Bahá’í Community of Marlborough joins Rev. Alice of UCMH for a mutual interview and discussion exploring comparative beliefs, practices, and origins of the two faith traditions. Participants welcome to add their perspectives and questions to the conversation. Located in the Sanctuary.

Everyone is welcome to participate ~
Please join us after the service for coffee, tea, refreshments, and fellowship.
