Holiday Lawsuit: A Multigenerational Circle of Churches Solstice Pageant
The Winter Solstice sues Christmas for appropriating its holidays and traditions in this lighthearted and informative readers’ theater play by Maria Houck. Join us for this multi-church worship service featuring a solstice pageant prepared by the new Circle Religious Education Collaborative, including the children and youth from UCMH as well as First Parish UU Northborough and UU Congregational Society of Westborough.
The Circle RE Collaborative is a regional religious education and spiritual exploration program serving 3 Unitarian Universalist congregations in Central Massachusetts:
- Unitarian Church of Marlboro and Hudson
- First Parish UU Northboro
- Unitarian Universalist Congregational Society of Westborough
We bring our youth together 2 Sundays a month to learn and explore Unitarian Universalism through active, engaging, age-relevant content. Our program is designed to help participants explore and expand their ethical, social, emotional, and spiritual growth in a community that learns with and from each other.
Circle Sundays rotate in location between the three churches, so visit our schedule to see when and where the Collaborative will be in action!
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
We are always looking for volunteers to assist with our programming, and there is no minimum commitment! You can volunteer as a classroom teacher or assistant, help out with childcare for infants and toddlers, or simply spend a single class session sharing a faith tradition. There are also plenty of opportunities to help out behind the scenes. Please contact Cynthia if you’re able to give even one Sunday of your time – we’d love to have you join us!
