Called by Loss, Called by Hope, Called by Peace: Memorial Day Reflections

Worship Service led by Nancy Rogers

Join us on a journey of reflection as we gather to explore the ways we memorialize the brave servicepeople who gave their lives to preserve the values and blessings of our country.

After the service, please join us for light refreshment and casual conversation outdoors, weather permitting! In case of inclement weather we will meet indoors and forego shared refreshments in favor of masked, casual conversation.

new bio pic NanNancy “Nan” Rogers, a member of UCMH since 2010, is the proud daughter of a Navy veteran and wife of an Air Force veteran. She wears many hats at UCMH: lay leader, SGCC Coordinator, and the founder and facilitator for our Women’s Red Tent. Creating safe, sacred space is foundational to her spiritual life. She has a special passion for connecting art, nature, and her women’s communities.  Designing artwork for children’s apparel by day, she is a painter, photographer, hand drummer, and belly dancer in her “spare” time when she’s not busy playing with her four adorable ginger kitties or laughing with her husband Bob.
