The Unitarian Church of Marlborough & Hudson invites you into a time of spiritual reflection with our newly-created Sharing Circle sUUndays. Once a month, in lieu of a formal worship service or as an after-service gathering, we will create safe, sacred space together in our Union Hall, in a sharing circle format, so we may explore topics that apply to our daily living, and which contribute to personal spiritual discernment.
**PLEASE NOTE: This event runs 10:30-noon** Coffee hour to follow.
For December, we explore the Path of WONDER.
The path of wonder can be a journey that brings us down to size. Just think of those pictures which reveal that our galaxy is just one of billions more. It can leave us with a sense of wonder that overwhelms. We look to Spirit to help us incorporate this into our lives. Hold on, Spirit says. Lean in a little bit more. And when we do look deeply into the mystery, it stares back, as if to say, “Welcome home; there is a larger story of which you are a part”. We are stardust. The path of wonder is not so much about feeling small; it’s about feeling connected. Wonder, and its cousin Awe, reduce us in order to make room for something more than our immediate needs, wants and worries: in looking up into the cosmos, we also look across at each other.
Please join us as we journey together through our individual and collective paths of Wonder!
Youth ages 13-18 are encouraged to participate in our Circle. For children up to age 6: Nursery Care is available. For children ages 7-12: be sure to check out the agenda for Circle RE this day to find out more about time and location.
COVID Safety: Masks will be optional but we will still practice social distancing in our spacious Union Hall. Please, if you’re not feeling well, do stay home! Many thanks for your kind consideration!
