Soul Matters Sharing Circle Sunday
The Unitarian Church of Marlborough & Hudson invites you into a time of spiritual reflection with our newly-created Soul Matters Sharing Circle. Once a month, usually in lieu of a formal worship service, we will gather in Union Hall to create safe, sacred space together, in a sharing circle format, so we may explore topics that apply to our daily living, and which contribute to personal spiritual discernment. (Please join us in our beautiful sanctuary the rest of the month for our regularly-scheduled worship services!)
**PLEASE NOTE: This event runs 10:30-noon; please join us for coffee hour to follow**
Our theme for April: The Path of RESISTANCE.
Resistance is complex and can refer to many acts on different levels. Sometimes resistance involves bravely picking up a picket sign or standing up for marginalized individuals in everyday small ways; other times it asks us to courageously put down our masks and expose who we really are. Sometimes it calls us to simply rest, and take care of ourselves; and sometimes, we are called to care for one another. None of us resists alone. Each path of resistance – personal, cultural, environmental — is daunting. Our first courageous step is reaching out to receive a helping hand. Please join us in our Circle of Care as we journey together through our individual and collective paths of Resistance!
Youth ages 13-18 are encouraged to participate in our Circle. For children up to age 6: Nursery Care is available. For children ages 7-12: be sure to check out the agenda for Circle RE this day to find out more about time and location.
COVID Safety: Masks are not mandatory but ARE recommended; we will still practice social distancing in our spacious Union Hall. Please, if you’re not feeling well, do stay home! Many thanks for your kind consideration!
