Sunday, December 10 ~ The Gift of Mystery ~ Soul Matters Sharing Circle ~ 10:30 a.m.

The Unitarian Church of Marlborough & Hudson invites you into a time of spiritual reflection with our Soul Matters Sharing Circle. Once a month, in lieu of a formal worship service, we will gather to create safe, sacred space together, in a sharing circle format, so we may explore topics that apply to our daily living, and which contribute to personal spiritual discernment.

Our theme for December: The Gift of Mystery.

Mystery isn’t just a puzzle to be solved, it’s also something to be listened to. “Yes,” it says, “Stay skeptical, continue to question and seek answers. But at the same time, leave space for life to speak!” If we want mystery to speak, we have to be willing to put down the pursuit and open ourselves to being caught off guard. Sitting at the heart of mystery is not the unknown, but unity. Mystery doesn’t put up barriers; it dissolves them. And mystery is not just connectedness, it’s comfort, too: we take a walk in the woods, watch the waves kindly caress the shore, stare into the night sky or stumble on the smile of a stranger. Please join us in Circle this month, and let’s let mystery work its magic, allowing ourselves to fall in and be opened up, listening to hear what the world whispers back.

Youth ages 13-18 are encouraged to participate in our Circle. For children up to age 6: Nursery Care is available. For children ages 7-12: be sure to check out the agenda for RE this day. Children will be meeting in Union Hall.
