And There Was Light
With Rev. Bruce Taylor
Born in Paris and blinded in an accident as a child, Jacques Lusseyran never lost his sense of vision. Guided by the vivid sense of an inner light, he drew upon his gifts of stillness, empathy and emotional intelligence to make his way in the world. In the face of Nazi occupation, he played a central role in creating and leading a youth resistance movement. This week’s sermon traces the path and significance of an exemplary life.
