Samhain, Day of the Dead, and a Harvest of Memories
With Rev. Bruce Taylor
Today’s service falls just before Samhain, the ancient seasonal festival that marks the end of harvest time. In today’s service we will honor those who have given us life. And in the spirit of Día de Muertos – Day of the Dead – we will celebrate their continuing presence in our lives. You are invited to bring a photograph, symbol or token representing a family member or close friend, someone who is still with you now, in blessed memory. In today’s service we will also introduce a ritual, Gathering for Grief and Growth, to attune ourselves to the transition we are facing now as a congregation.
Let us open to this moment with hearts that have no borders.

Join us after the service in Union Hall for coffee and conversation. All are welcome!
