Composting Experience
With Rev. Bruce Taylor
The Buddhist teacher, Chogyam Trungpa, spoke about the “manure of experience”: all the moments of our lives, whether we consider them good or bad, success or failure, which nourish wisdom and deepen our capacity to love. This time of year, when not much is growing outside, it’s good to reflect on the compost we all carry and what we might grow with it.
All are welcome to join us following the service for conversation and light refreshments in Union Hall.
“The fairest thing in nature, a flower, still has its roots in earth and manure.”
