Mind the Gap

With Rev. Bruce Taylor at UCMH

For something new to be created, for things to move and change, there needs to be a space between them. In the London Underground, a voice warns passengers to mind the gap – to watch out for the space between the train and the platform, without which the train could never move. Life is full of necessary gaps which allow for self-awareness, empathy, love, and a vision of Beloved Community.

All are welcome to join us following the service for conversation and light refreshments in Union Hall.

“There is no longer Jew nor Greek, there is no longer slave or free, there is no longer male or female; for all of you are one.”

-Paul’s Letter to the Galatians 3:28

This coming Sunday we will receive a special offering for Safe Homes Worcester, empowering LGBTQIA+ youth and their allies to live their lives to the fullest. Safe Homes Worcester provides a safe location for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning, intersex and asexual youth to make new connections, ask questions and get helpful resources to support their well-being and personal development.
Money from this Sunday’s offering plate will be donated to Safe Homes Worcester unless it is specifically designated for your annual pledge.
