“Distracted Living”
With Rev. Jackie Clement
We’ve all probably heard of the dangers of distracted driving. Using the phone, eating, or even using navigation devices while driving all significantly raise the possibilities of an accident. But what about being similarly non-present to our other interactions in the world, to our very lives? With all that’s on our minds and agendas, how do we avoid a crash?
“You must live in the present, launch yourself on every wave, find your eternity in each moment. Fools stand on their island of opportunities and look toward another land. There is no other land; there is no other life but this.”
~ Henry David Thoreau
